The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

When I graduated from undergraduate school in '63 I went to work for the DuPont Company. I returned to Penn State two years later for a Master's degree in Earth Science which I earned in May '66. I then taught Earth Science in Newark, Delaware for 33 years. During which time I married and had three sons whom all became Eagle Scouts. My older two sons went to Penn State and graduated as Engineers. My youngest son went to West Chester and then on to the Navy and served as a Gas Systems Engineer on the USS Cole. He was instrumental in saving the Cole when it was attacked on October 12, 2000. I have three grandchildren with the fourth on the way. I retired from the classroom in June 1999 and have been teaching on-line ever since. As avid Penn State fans, my husband and I have a cottage-in-the-woods outside of Saxton, PA from which we launch many trips to JoePa land every year!
